BAIE DE GRAND GOAVE, Haiti (Jan. 30, 2010) Lt.j.g. Natalie Shaffer, a nurse assigned to Fleet Surgical Team (FST) 8 and embarked aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), hands over a newborn Haitian baby boy to his father. The child was the first baby ever born aboard Bataan.
